About Us

WHO WE ARE/WHAT WE DO

4Corners K-9 Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our Vision

To locate, rescue, and recover lost and missing persons on Native American Tribal lands.

Our Mission

By serving victims and families with empathy, compassion, and respect we provide immediate hope, relief, and support during the agonizing trauma of having a missing loved one.

During my time with my previous SAR team, I was approached by many families from across the Navajo Nation requesting help with searches or just general questions and information on what they should do to find their missing loved ones. I also found that there are many issues and complications that exist and that families are faced with. Due to these issues and the many requests, 4Corners K-9 Search and Rescue (4CK9SAR) was founded. 4CK9SAR is the first Native Owned K-9 Search and Rescue on the Navajo Nation. My K-9’s, Trigger, Gunny (German/Czech Shepherd Dogs) and I have received all our certifications and training through the state of New Mexico. Their disciplines are Live Find and Human Remains Detection.

We currently have 7 team members who come from Phoenix AZ, Dilkon AZ, Durango CO, Gallup NM, Mission SD, Kirtland NM and Shiprock NM. All our team members are working mothers and fathers who donate their selfless time to travel to help on these searches.

Since launching 4CK9SAR, the Board of Directors has funded all training and missions. As of 2024, we are seeking funding through grants, sponsors, and donors. Please review the Donate/Ways To Help Page to review the simple steps you can take to make a difference, as we continue Finding Those Who Need To Be Found ™

We look forward to working together with more communities to help grow 4Corners K-9 Search and Rescue so we can provide more assistance to many more families in need of our services and to find a solution to help combat the growing crisis of our missing and murdered indigenous loved ones!
