Amber Hillis Parker, a seasoned CPA, serves as the Treasurer for 4Corners K-9 Search and Rescue (4CK9SAR). She is the dynamic founder and owner of Hillis Parker & Associates and Her CPA; indigenous accounting firms dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and nonprofits through expert bookkeeping, accounting, and advisory services.

Hillis Parker’s educational background is rooted in Fort Lewis College, where she double majored in accounting and finance. Over her career, she has worked in different capacities, from auditor and accounting supervisor to business manager and controller, adeptly managing financials ranging from $2 million to $132 million.

Her dedication to 4CK-9SAR stems from a deep-seated belief in its mission to help community members locate missing loved ones, deliver closure to families, and impart crucial knowledge about procedures when a loved one goes missing. As Treasurer, Hillis Parker meticulously oversees the organization’s financial strategies, ensuring their resources are optimally utilized to support the mission.

Beyond her professional achievements, Hillis Parker’s affiliations include memberships with AICPA and NMSCPA, demonstrating her commitment to upholding the highest standards in accounting practices.

Born and raised on the Navajo Nation, Amber proudly identifies as the Towering House People and is born for The One Who Walks Around. Beyond her professional commitments, she loves hosting family gatherings, traveling, and hiking.
